Oh look! More trees!

A work in progress – watercolor study for the community mosaic we’ll be starting at CrazyLake Art Gallery on the Second Friday (artwalk) in Greenfield, IN.

And on the right, the infamous barn.

I had planned to just do a slap-‘em-up sort of color study, just to give participants an idea of the color scheme to go by. Nothing more intimidating than a blank white ‘canvas’. However, as always, I started putting in detail, and then, well…..one thing leads to another, and I find that I’m spending about 4 times longer than planned on it. Oh well. I hope I like it when it’s done!
